Everything under one roof
Our kindergarten has all the necessary equipment under one roof, which brings many advantages to parents and children. Our kindergarten on Alejova 2 is equipped with its own kitchen, sports area, environmental garden, swimming pool and gym. 7 modern classrooms, its own sports complex and the largest transport playground in Košice directly opposite the kindergarten make it an ideal place for all-round development of your children.
Private swimming pool and sauna
Among the advantages and special features of our kindergarten are our own swimming pool and our own infrared salt sauna. Both the swimming pool and the infrared salt sauna are located right in the kindergarten building, so the inclusion of baby swimming in the children’s program is not dependent on travel or weather conditions.
The pool has the most modern water treatment and purification. Disinfection is ensured by UV radiation and ionisation. The water temperature in the pool ranges from 28 to 32 C and is maintained by an automatic control system.
Swimming
Swimming is a great activity for children which has many benefits for their health and development , our children have regular swimming sessions 2 – 3 times a week , for the bravest we have a prep session in the same amount of Baby Swimming. Swimming strengthens the whole body, improves physical fitness and motor skills and helps prevent obesity. In addition, swimming in the water is very pleasant and relaxing, which can help reduce stress in children.
Children’s swimming is becoming increasingly popular today, not only as a sporting activity, but also as a way to teach children how to swim and move safely in the water. Swimming is an important skill that can save a life, especially in unexpected situations in the water.
Swimming for children usually starts between the ages of 6 months and 3 years, when children are still very young and their bodies are still very sensitive to new experiences. Swimming at this time helps children develop sensory perception, coordination of movements and habits when in the water. And as children grow and develop, they can gradually learn new techniques and skills until they become proficient swimmers.
It is also important to follow the safety rules and always let children swim under the supervision of an experienced instructor or parent. Kids swimming can be great fun for children and beneficial for their health and development. So if you are looking for a new and healthy activity for your child , swimming is the right choice.
Environmental garden
In our kindergarten, children are encouraged to be environmentally responsible from an early age. We show children how to separate waste. There is also our enviro garden in the school grounds, where we grow and learn the names of plants (fruits, vegetables and herbs) with the children. Each class has its own box.
We also build a relationship to nature in our children through trips and visits (e.g. to the surroundings of the Hornád River, the lake in the Nad Jezero housing estate, the botanical garden of the Košice University of Applied Sciences, the ZOO, the East Slovak Museum, etc.).
The kindergarten has an environmental management system certificate.
Own sports complex
For outdoor activities we have sandpits, a wooden train and a climbing wall. Our kindergarten also has an asphalt surface on which there are marked areas for sports activities such as running, football, athletics, basketball and more. In our nursery you will also find children’s sports equipment and tools such as hockey sticks, trampolines, ladders, mats, floorball hockey sticks, benches, balance beams, a bridge and golf equipment. We try to create the most suitable conditions for children’s physical development.
Own gym in the school
With us, you will find several advantages of having your own gym with professional trainers in the kindergarten.
