Children of the same age and developmental needs learn faster and more effectively when learning activities and games are adapted to their specific needs. Our preschool works with age-grouped classes so that teachers can plan and deliver appropriate instructional content to meet the needs of each age group.
Teaching and playing with peers from the SHSS is fun and motivating for the children. Children learn from each other, form friendships and work together on different tasks. Interacting with peers is also emotionally enriching for children, helping them to develop social skills and abilities such as empathy, respect and tolerance of differences. In a peer group, children can feel supported and motivated in the learning process.
Based on our experience over the years, children tend to be more engaged in classroom activities and actively learn when they are in a group with peers who are positive towards them. It is important to us that children have the opportunity to grow and learn with peers where they can develop skills, relationships and independence that will serve them later in life.
Yellow class
Welcome to the yellow classroom in our nursery, where we are delighted to welcome children aged 2 to 3 years. This age is crucial for children as this is when a child is adapting to a new environment and making their first friendships. In our class we also socialise the children and teach them basic hygiene habits.
In addition, we believe that it is important for children to be introduced to sport at this age and to learn the daily schedule of activities in kindergarten in a playful way . We also encourage group meals in the classroom , which include snack, lunch, snack, vegetable and fruit counters, and an early dinner.
In the yellow classroom, we also begin to develop a relationship with water in a playful way and teach children how to handle it properly. We believe that in our classroom your children will feel comfortable, learn and have fun at the same time. We are here for them and are happy to accompany them on their journey of growth and learning.
Green class
Welcome to the green classroom of our kindergarten, where children aged 3 to 4 years are placed .
This age is important for children because they are already beginning to develop their skills in a group and form their first friendships. In our classroom we also socialise the children and teach them how to use cutlery and basic hygiene habits.
In addition, we believe that it is important for children to improve athletically and learn new skills in a playful way already at this age. In the green classroom, we also support the development of children’s skills and create an environment conducive to their learning.
We also encourage communal eating in the classroom , which includes snack, lunch, snack, vegetable and fruit counters, and an early dinner. This way, the child can learn good eating habits while learning to cooperate with others.
In the green class, the child begins to improve his swimming skills in a playful way. We believe that in our classroom your children will feel comfortable, learn and have fun at the same time. We are here for them and we are happy to accompany them on their journey of growth and learning.
Red Class
In our kindergarten, children not only learn, but also spend their time actively. Our activities are divided into different blocks and focus on the overall development of the child. Mornings are filled with sports activities such as swimming, gymnastics, football and basic ball games. Our goal is to show kids different sports and help them find what they like.
Educational mornings include English language and playful activities. Children learn new words and phrases through games and different activities. We also try to create a friendly and positive environment so that children can learn in comfort.
In the afternoons our pupils are involved in various circle activities. They have a choice of dance, drama club, creative workshops, yoga, balance boards, music, transport education and environmental education. We try to offer children a variety of interests so they can choose what they enjoy most.
Blue Class
Outside of these activities, we also offer a variety of visits and special events. The children visit a speech therapist, a psychologist, have their eyesight measured and receive traffic education. Other visits include dentists, falconers, museums, parks, farms, zoos, puppet shows, winter sports, ice skating and skiing. In addition, we have our own bus so we can travel to various places with ease. Children can also look forward to an outdoor school, a night at the nursery and creative workshops with parents.
When the children leave our preschool, they are ready for their first year of primary school. We have a certificate of completion of pre-primary education and the children have a basic knowledge of English. They know several styles of swimming, master basic gymnastic elements and know and master the basic skills and rules of ball games. We are proud that our children are ready for the next stage of their lives.
